Sophisticated Algorithms and Software Manage and Monitor HLR Operations.

An important design element of enVerid’s sophisticated software and algorithms is the implementation of a hybrid Temperature/Concentration Swing Adsorption (TCSA) cycle. This allows the enVerid HLR® (HVAC Load Reduction) system to function for long periods of time, maintaining a highly selective ability to capture unwanted contaminants prevalent in indoor air. enVerid’s software precisely controls the HLR system’s multi-phase TCSA operational cycle, determining whether the HLR modules should run in adsorption, regeneration, or simply standby mode. The microprocessor in the enVerid HLR system analyzes readings from the unit’s many sensors, monitoring sorbent performance while factoring information received from networked servers about weather, building occupancy patterns and power costs in order to maximize the energy savings. The efficiency intelligence designed into our algorithms operates as an expert system, which enables the HLR modules to maintain desirable indoor air quality in larger buildings without imposing excessive downtime for sorbent regeneration. The software-enabled cycling also allows the HLR system to achieve high-quality air with relatively small amounts of sorbent material, and the resulting energy savings provide a remarkably fast return on investment.

User Monitoring and Reporting

Building owners, facility managers, and others with system access can monitor the performance of the HLR system, including the building indoor air quality results and real-time energy savings, via web-based access. Built-in electronics and communications software control, record and report all aspects of the HLR system operation.
